Davana Oil An oil obtained by steam-distillation from Davana, a flowering herb (Artemisia pallens), native to India and cultivated there for this oil; the whole plant is distilled. The oil has a sweet, tea-like odour reminiscent of dried fruit and is used in eastern perfumes and also occasionally in western ones
